Oatmeal Lavender Soap

Lather makes excellent olive oil soaps. They’re above my finances except the Tangerine which I use when I’m nervous or have a migraine. I have sensitive skin that has plagued me with eczema and acne all my life. Thankfully the acne went away at fifty.

I’ve used different cleansers and couldn’t see any difference between them.

I’m in NY and called the friendly LATHER store with a question. The woman told me that all LATHER soaps could be used on the face. Soap on my face? I’ve never had a bad product from LATHER. With dry, sensitive skin I thought I would try it. I ordered the oatmeal. Can I say it cleans and leaves the oils we have in our skin there without stripping them away? One thing I learned living in Europe is the most important product is cleanser.

In the evening i use a microfiber cloth to take off make up and SPF. Then my skin gets cleaned with the best product I have used - oatmeal and lavender soap from LATHER. My grandmother told me to use oatmeal years ago to bath with. I just like lavender.

I wish I knew about this before. I’m 70 and my skin has never looked. better.

I was shocked at using soap on my face. This is so good. I don’t buy much because the bar is on the soap holder that LATHER sells so it isn’t mush. I hate to tell LATHER that this last 6 months and more sometimes.

Thank you for making a way to really clean sensitive skin without stripping out its natural oils or irritating it.
